It was 2016. My animation project 'The Universe' got development funding from the Flemish Audiovisual Funding (VAF). Here you can find the concept artwork for the film, that was about a guy traveling trough his own created universe, looking for a way to ease his soul with the escapism that are his drawings.
Although many preparations and many days and nights of work, the commission decided that this project was not good enough and it never got funded. So I decided to go on, leave it like it is, and maybe one day I'll be able to make it again, if it isn't an animated short, than a graphic novel or maybe something completely different.
But as long that won't happen you have the chance here to have a peak inside that strange, fascinating place called "the Universe".
